artist of the week 6.28.10

chris brown.

the artist i was originally going to put is alicia keys, but chris brown changed my mind at the last minute. aside from him being one of my favorite artists, he made an amazing comeback. first off, he came out with a new album called graffiti. i like a majority of the songs, and can relate to them. then, he came out with a mixtape called fan of a fan. i only like three songs on this mixtape, but it's still good. then, on the 2010 bet awards, his performance hit me hard. chris brown has been out since 2005, and i've never seen him cry that hard. when he recieved his award, he said "i let yall down before, but i won't do it again. i promise." and i believe it.
